The madness is coming….

Not that I’m trying to rush winter out the door or anything (okay, I am), but guess what?! Only two weeks until March Madness begins! And I’m not talkin’ basketball….

March Madness is a challenge for writers, readers, bloggers, and illustrators — basically all bookish types. We set some wild and crazy goals, then have a blast cheering each other on as we work to achieve them. Mutual support and accountability at their maddest finest.

Every day in March, one of the seven March Madness hosts will share a blog post to help keep us all focused, inspired, and encouraged (I’ll be your host on Sundays ;) ), and in case that’s not enough… PRIZES! Books! Critiques! Awesomeness!

So with only a couple weeks until the madness begins, it’s time to start thinking about your goals. What would you like to accomplish during March? Think big. Really big. What might you be able to do if you really, really set your mind to it and really, really worked your butt off? Your goals need to be possible, of course, but don’t be afraid to embrace the madness and aim high.

Think about it, and please spread the word. Official sign-up will be February 29 on Denise Jaden’s blog. Watch for details!

Sounds like fun. Would love to do it, but family obligations. Wishing everyone a good ride.

I *need* to commit to it, but don’t know if I’d do any better than I did last year. Then there’s the fact that I’ll be away for the better part of a week this March. (Altho’ there’s a good side to that!) ;)

I’ll try psyching myself up over these next two weeks and see what happens.

I’ll have to remember to take “visiting time” into account when I set my goals. ;)

Seems to me, I didn’t meet my goals last March, but I figure I still ended up closer to them than I was before March, so it was well worth it. And it was fun being “in it together” with a bunch of other people madly working towards their goals!
